Stu Whisson:

Stu was born in 1969 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Although his family come from the central and North London area. He started trading in the early days of ‘Thatchers Britain’ and quickly noticed various unusual events relating to the movement of charts.

After buying and successfully selling various popular share offers in the 80’s - British Gas (‘Tell Syd!’), Rolls Royce and British Telecom. Stu continued to trade with a good degree of success. It wasn’t until he found Financial Spread Betting and later FOREX trading on mini accounts that his trading and techniques found a true home.

‘For a long time I was trading quite well, but needed something that would allow me to trade a much higher volume with out much outlay I looked into Futures and Options, but the required deposits were prohibitive and the risks too great. Then I stumbled across Financial Spread Betting and fell in love with it.

It’s not always been a love affair and have had a few costly lessons along the way.
In the later part of the 90’s I started a small ‘how to...’ guide for friends - this showed them what I would look for and how to trade the markets I did. I created this as I was getting tired of friends and friends of friends asking me to show them all the time.

Little did I know that this would be shared and eventually, after getting so many requests for support and copies, I created a simple website to enable me to provide basic support and the downloads. It was then that I created a monster.

Insight Support Limited grew out of all f that. It got out of hand, so I had to invest a great deal of money and start up a company to better help, support and train those that wanted it. When Insight was formed, it was then that the course was properly developed and since Jan 2003, the course has gone on from strength to strength. Now being a known professional provider of trader training.

I still train all my students, the company and site allow me to do this from anywhere. It does mean sometimes we have to limit those who come to join us, simply as I can’t support everyone all the time, so we have to limit the intake.

I am very excited with Insight Support Limited and I can see it growing into the future, for the benefit of all its students - as all the profits are paid directly back into the student website’
